NEW YORK — In an old apartment in SoHo, with large windows open to the zinc rooftops, the idea for the jewelry brand Ruth & Maevewas born. Behind it are the mother Ruth and her daughter Maeve, who have always shared a common joy for jewelry.

“Maeve was already rummaging through my jewelry box when she was little. One day, she asked: why are beautiful things always so expensive? That's how Ruth & Maeve started.”, says Ruth with a smile.

Their goal is simple: elegant jewelry for every day — rings, earrings, necklaces, and bracelets — at a price that won't make you hesitate. Each piece is chosen by Ruth herself, but Maeve is the toughest critic: “If Maeve doesn't like something, it won't be in the collection.”, laughs Ruth.

The studio is filled with calm and order: the jewelry is carefully inspected, sorted, and prepared for the journey, so each customer receives exactly what they expected.
